WinDebate provides AI-assisted debate preparation, practice, research, and account features. This policy explains the main categories of data used to operate the service.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use the app, WinDebate may process:
- Account information, such as your email address and Supabase authentication identifiers.
- Debate content you enter, including resolutions, speeches, arguments, cases, practice responses, and research requests.
- Practice and progress data, such as drill history, feedback, saved research sessions, dashboard activity, usage counters, and preferences.
- Billing metadata handled through Stripe, such as plan status and customer identifiers. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by WinDebate.
- Technical data needed for security and reliability, including request IDs, timestamps, rate-limit signals, and error codes.
3. Local and Cloud Storage
Signed-out pages may store minimal local preferences in your browser. Signed-in usage may sync selected profile, preference, research, practice, billing, and progress records through Supabase so your account can work across sessions.
4. AI and Provider Processing
AI and research features are routed through backend functions instead of exposing provider secrets in the browser. Your prompts, debate inputs, and source context may be sent to AI, search, article extraction, speech, or similar providers only as needed to return the requested feature output.
5. How We Use Data
We use data to provide coaching feedback, generate research, maintain saved work, enforce plan limits, protect the service from abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve product reliability.
6. Your Choices
You can clear locally stored browser data through your browser settings. If you use an account, you can sign out from the app and contact support for account or data questions.

We may update this policy as the app changes. When that happens, the date above will be updated.
